Ruize Jin

I’m Ruize Jin, you can call me Jerry. I'm a Master of Quantitative Management: Business Analytics student at Duke University, with an undergraduate background in actuarial science.

My training started with risk, uncertainty, and quantitative modeling, but my experiences across insurance, healthcare, and enterprise analytics gradually pushed me toward broader data science and applied AI. I became increasingly interested not only in building predictive models, but also in how data systems and AI can support better decisions in real business settings.

Today, I’m especially interested in problems at the intersection of machine learning, analytics, and decision-making — from interpretable modeling to AI-enabled workflows. I enjoy turning messy, real-world problems into something structured, measurable, and useful.
